We almost didn't make it to the beach on Saturday. The sky was threatening, and we also knew we should've been having our stoop sale (no yard sales in Brooklyn). But we couldn't resist, and the day turned out gorgeous. We had the perfect view sitting under our umbrella. The drive home was another story though. At times we couldn't even see the road the rain was coming down so hard. It was a perfect summer storm, and still an interesting view.

The Perfect View

But we couldn't resist, and the day turned out gorgeous. We had the perfect view sitting under our umbrella. The drive home was another story though. At times we couldn't even see the road the rain was coming down so hard. It was a perfect summer storm, and still an interesting view.

we used to have soo many stoop sales when I lived in Park Slope! Is that Jones beach? these days I am lucky to only drive 30 min to a beach and 10 to the pool!
Isn't that symbolic. There's an interesting view on a clear day and in the middle of a summer storm. You just have to take the time to look. Missing you on the left coast!
